The latter is essentially HTC's attempt to create a greater touch-screen experience without you having to utilise the stylus as much. The device we reviewed was also running ROM version 1.37 (official UK release ROM), but sadly we did not get enough time with the device to test the latest ROM released on the HTC website (release 31/07/08), so please take this into account when reading our comments about performance issues.
