Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol Review

Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol Review Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol Review

In Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (MI:GP) The IMF is shut down when it's implicated in the bombing of the Kremlin, causing Ethan Hunt and his new team to go rogue to clear their organization's name!

Was it good?

Action Action Action, from the very start MI:GP has a ton of the latter with a side order of cool gadgetry thrown in for good measure! Let’s put it this way for a 2 hour film you feel both entertained and exhausted by the end of it!

Tom Cruise has got the Ethan Hunt character down to a point now, which you would expect for all the years that he has been playing the role, and once gain he does not disappoint on the daring front by doing all his own stunts.

Most of the supporting cast are pretty good to, but for me Simon Pegg’s involvement (the computer geek who is the blunt of all the jokes) lets the film down slightly as it loses that gritty and suspense feeling that you got with the first two titles.

Without spoiling things too much there are a few scenes, such as the sandstorm sequence, which are milked a little bit too long for my liking and disrupt the flow of the action just a tad.

But there is still no denying that this is a film to keep you entertained and I would thoroughly recommend you rent or buy a copy to add to your collection!
