In Catapult King the story is based upon a princess that has been taken hostage by an enemy Kingdom - which just so happens to be protected by a dragon - and it’s up to you to save her!
The main interface comprises of a large catapult which you need to use to destroy the entire enemy and stronghold - with the secondary aim being to use as little ammo as possible (just like Angry Birds). As you progress through the increasingly more complex levels you can unlock different types of boulders.
Catapult King has its funny moments with the enemy laughing at you as your shot misses them or gawping as the boulder hits them!
The graphics are also reasonable and the controls are just like the aforementioned Anger Birds – thus it’s a very simple to get into and use.
While the game won’t win any awards for originality it was still addictive in places and one that I enjoyed playing if I had the odd five minutes to spare.
