Waypoints

One of our readers asked a question about adding waypoints to the Navigon 7110

"I have read your very helpful review of the above sat nav but would really appreciate it if you could answer the following question.

I need to be able to either plan a route or add waypoints to a route by touching the on screen map at the required points. These may just be points on a particular road rather than address points to make the sat nav go a particular way. Can this be done with this particular model?"

Here is the answer from Navigon....

"With NAVIGON 7110 it is possible to save your own waypoints (> click on the map > GPS-coordinates of this point will be saved within the menu point “favourites”). But: this waypoint won`t show up as a POI of your map. You will only find it within your saved favourites." - CB Admin
