Gateway Adds New Emachines Desktop Pcs To Their Range PDF Print

Gateway has announced a new line of attractively priced eMachines desktop PCs for the Christmas shopping season.

The three new eMachines desktop PCs, are available at leading retailers throughout the United Kingdom.

The new PC line includes Microsoft Windows XP Media Center 2005, 64-bit processor technology, large hard drives, ATI graphics and prices starting at £229.

The new eMachines E4076 (£299)/4094 (£349) offers an Intel Pentium 4 524 processor (3.06GHz) with Hyper Threading technology, 512MB DDR2 memory (expandable to 2GB), a 120GB hard drive, multi-format double layer DVD+/-RW drive and a 9-in-1 media card reader and five USB 2.0 ports.

Additionally, the eMachines E4076/4094 has integrated ATI Radeon Xpress 200-based graphics, while the available PCI Express x16 expansion slot allows for a dedicated graphics card to be added later on.

The new eMachines 3042 (£229) is powered by a 64-bit Intel Celeron D 352 processor and 512MB DDR2 memory (expandable to 2GB). The system also comes with an 80GB hard drive and a multi-format double layer DVD+/-RW drive.

In addition, six USB 2.0 ports an integrated ATI Radeon Xpress 200-based graphics and a PCI Express x16 expansion slot are provided for future upgrades.

All three new eMachines PCs come with 6-channel high definition audio, a premium multimedia keyboard and a 2-button wheel mouse.
