Now in over one billion devices worldwide, BLUETOOTH technology has reached the mainstream and with that status, the wireless technology has moved far beyond the wireless headset.
From a cellular squirrel robot that fields phone calls to a virtual wireless keyboard and street "surfboard" (not a skateboard, this product has three wheels not four and replicates the feeling of surfing) with speed controlled through a BLUETOOTH phone, BLUETOOTH technology is turning up where you least expect.
Only a few short years ago, walking down the street talking on a wireless headset would draw strange glances. But who knows what the norm will be in a few years?
