MSI finally unveils its new MSI N9600GSO-T2D384-OC graphics card which is based on the latest NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GSO GPU. The MSI N9600GSO-T2D384-OC is designed for high-definition gaming and video playback and is equipped with the special designed MSI Seaweed-Blade Fan for cooling.
The new graphic card supports NVIDIA SLI technology, PCI-e generation 2.0 and NVIDIA PureVideo HD technology and is equipped with an HDMI connector. The 96 processor cores support a resolution of up to 2560x1600 to provide high definition.
The MSI N9600GSO-T2D384-OC graphics card features 96 stream processors which needs an effective cooling capacity so MSI designed a special “Seaweed-blade Fan” cooler and thermal shielding.
Essentially the Seaweed-blade Fan applies hydromechanics that creates powerful air-flow and the highest air-pressure possible at the same time. Compared to a fan-cooler with a regular blade the MSI Seaweed-blade Fan provides less noise and a lower temperature. The MSI thermal shielding extends the hood as close as possible to the bracket to decrease turbulence cause by the unnecessary blank zone. The native streamline shape also makes the air friction as low as possible, providing less noise production.
