 With NVIDIA announcing its next-gen GeForce 9 Series cards MSI have sent us this news about the cards that they are offering which are set to offer 116% more performance than there predecessors.
The latest cards will be the; MSI N9600GT-T2D512-OC, MSI N9600GT-T2D1G-OC and the MSI N9600GT ZILENT 1G.
All graphic cards are equipped with PCI-Express 2.0, DirectX 10 support, NVIDIA PureVideo HD and 512MB or 1GB memory.
MSI designed a brand new cooler with MSI Seaweed-blade and thermal shielding to reduce the heat and noise. The MSI N9600GT ZILENT 1G is equipped with a Zalman cooler.

MSI Special Cooler
MSI designed the brand new cooler with special “Seaweed-blade Fan” and thermal shielding. The Seaweed-blade Fan applies hydromechanics that makes the most powerful air-flow and highest air-pressure possible at the same time.
Compared to a fan-cooler with a regular blade the MSI Seaweed-blade Fan provides less noise and a lower temperature. The MSI thermal shielding extends the hood as close as possible to the bracket to decrease turbulence cause by the unnecessary blank zone. The native streamline shape also makes the air friction as low as possible, providing less noise production.
The MSI N9600GT Series also supports NVIDIA second generation PureVideo2 HD Hardware Decode Acceleration. This provides smooth playback of H.264, VC-1, WMV, MPEG-2 HD and movies.
Besides, the MSI N9600GT Series also support TV-out functionality through Composite, SVideo, Component or DVI connections at resolutions up to 1080i/1080p.
