As the size of digital content continues to grow. And this is just as much the case in the office as well as at home. High resolution videos, music or computer assisted design (CAD) data create enormous volumes of data that have to be stored. Add to this email archives, databases or data on file servers. Today's hard disks are often no longer sufficient to accommodate the consistently growing need for local storage capacity.
So up to four terabytes of storage capacity in a PC system or work station has now become a reality with the new 1 TB hard disk from MAXDATA. The S-ATA hard disk is distinguished by its girth, fast access time, low working temperature and low power consumption.
In addition to a 1,000 gigabyte capacity with up to 32 MB cache, this offers a fast data transfer rate of 105 MB per second and an average access time of 8.5 ms at 7,200 rpm.
Thanks to its low power consumption, the hard disk is also energy efficient and has a low operating temperature. This not only reduces power consumption, but also increases the lifespan of the hard disk considerably. This should result in greater durability.
The HDD S-ATA II 1 TB hard disk is now available in MAXDATA PC systems and MAXDATA workstations.
