Ontrack fix barbecued hard drive

Ontrack are a renowned company for being able to recover data from damaged hard drives. Anything from bullet ridden, burnt, crushed, scratched and dropped are all in their power to fix. Which is why it seems that the Editor of PC Magazine online decided to test this theory whilst on holiday. He took his western digital drive and dropped it into his barbecue - I'm surprised he did not try and eat it! Then when the drive was completely burnt and partially melted he sent off the drive to Ontrack to see if they could fix it. One email later confirmed they had successfully recovered 100% of the data - Amazing!
