LINDY has announced the launch of its new 8 Port HDMI Splitter that will enable users to connect up to eight HDMI or DVI equipped display devices to a single High Definition source such as a set top box, DVD player or computer.
The LINDY 8 Port HDMI Splitter supports HDTV resolutions of up to1080p with multi channel digital audio and can be used with cable runs of up to 30m. It is HDMI 1.2 and DVI 1.0 compliant and has a built in EDID simulator and HDCP key-set, which allows each output to function independently.
For installations that require the same high specification but with fewer ports, LINDY has also released a 4 port version of the LINDY HDMI Splitter.
Additional specifications:
- Supports maximum cable distances of up to 30m (15m in, 15m out).
- HDMI 1.2, HDCP 1.1 and DVI 1.0 compliant.
- Supports HDTV resolutions: 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p.
- When used with computers, supports DVI-D resolutions of up to 1920 x 1200.
- Supports multi-channel digital audio.
- Built-in EDID simulator and HDCP key-set allows each output to work independently when connecting to an HDMI display.
- Can be cascaded up to 3 levels (depending on cable quality).
- Supports transmission distances of up to 30m (max. 15m in, 15m out).
- Each buffered output can run up to 15m @ 1600 x 1200.
- Maximum bandwidth: 165MHz.
