LINDY Electronics has announced the launch of its USB 4 Port Sharing Hub that has been designed to provide an easy, cost effective solution to enable two computers to share USB scanners, printers and other peripherals. “Sharing peripherals is one of those little annoyances that people put up with because of the cost and space issues associated with having duplicate equipment,” says Andrew Ingram, Product Manager of LINDY Electronics. “But waiting to be able to use someone else’s computer or relying on them to carry out a task for you can be frustrating, as can the alternative of swapping over USB cables. The unit is compatible with both PCs and Macs, so it particularly useful for users that have both types of computers and selecting which one has access to the hub and the connected devices is just a simple flick of a switch.
