Description
If you don't want to have the hassle or expensive of protecting your device completely (in our test case the iPod nano) then you can simply opt to protect your screen instead - which for most people is the only real concern. However with the Echo protectors you can not only protect your screen, you can also prune yourself in the process as the protector doubles for a handy mirror.
Features
Ok so the screen protector will appeal more to Women than Men, unless you happen to love yourself to the point of obsession, but is does work remarkably well for the money.
Within the pack you get a glass cloth and the screen protector itself. Firstly you have to wipe away any dust/grime off your iPod's screen and then position the screen protector in place.
Installation is really easy and if you do make a mistake the screen protector can be peeled off and can even be washed if you so wish! The cloth is all handy to keep hold of because like the screen itself the protector can pick up finger prints quite easily.
When your iPod is powered off the screen then acts as a mirror and can be used to prune yourself secretly whilst not drawing people to the conclusion that you are vain.
Once the iPod is turned on the normal screen appears and you can continue using the device as before.
Design/Testing
In use the screen protector works really well and did not seem to impact into the standard iPod design at all.
The mirror also works well and to test to see if the protector hindered functionality we asked once again one of our staff member’s sisters to try it out for a month.
Feedback was that the screen did not impact in watching movies or when navigating around the menus. She particularly likes the mirror as it was easy for quick hair and makeup style touches.
