Design/Features
In use the portable charger took over 5 hours to fully charge from our mains supply, though we are not sure if attaching this to a 4-way mains adaptor caused it to take so long.
But once fully charged we could use the adaptors to charge almost any device we had available.
Connecting each adaptor is easy as pie, with the retractable cabling system - which allows you to stretch out a long cable from the USB mains adaptor to your device - has a connector on the end where you can add the various types of power convertor you want to use.
So in practice we were able to charge our digital camera, which uses a DC In (5v) Power connector, a GPS PND, various smartphones, Nokia N73, Samsung i780, iPhone nano, Sony Ericson W960i and all without having to dig out the original mains adaptors.
We did find that the Nokia adaptor did not seem to power the N82 or E90 Communicator (with the latter it would start to charge and then stop, so we are unsure if it was a dodgy connector on the device or the adaptor itself) and it won't work with older Nokia devices which don't use the dinky power connector.
Additionaly the car charger also has a USB connector on the end which will work with the various different connectors you have at your disposal.
With the portable 3400mAH of storage we were able to fully charge several devices from the one charge and this is a great tool for emergencies - when you can't get to a mains point.
The charger/carrying bag are also both stylish and for anyone who needs to charge different makes of phones or simply requires a means of charging there devices away from the mains, then the Ted baker Kit is a great purchase.
