iPod nano 4/8GB
Description
Like any item of gadgetry bought in the first few weeks of its life, your iPod nano will be treated with great care and attention and the thought of a scratch or knock or two will be devastating. But after a while you may become forgetful and stuff the item into your pocket, forgetting your keys or loose change are there, thus your precious iPod could get a scratch or worst still get its screen damaged. So to prevent this from happening you could invest in a stylish iPod nano case from Proporta.
Design/Features
Apart from the Mini Mod case itself you will find a small wrist strap that can be attached to the base.
The case itself is both stylish and practical with a soft leather finish on the outside that protects your iPod from damage, whilst at the same time still feels comforting when you hold the case in your hand.
The iPod nano is held in place by two strong arms that are designed to prevent your device from being scratched.
Additional protection comes in the shape of an aluminium screen protector that is designed to prevent your screen from being crushed when placed in a bag or pocket.
Cut-outs are also in place so you can attach your USB charger/cable or headphones and the case closes via a magnetic clasp.
The colour we had for review was red with a white strip down the side and it does look pretty cool. Though you can get this in black as well.
In Action
For testing we simply enlisted the help of one of our staff member’s sisters who already had an iPod nano.
We got her to test the Proporta case for about a month and then let us know what she thought.
At the end she said it was a lot better than her previous case she was using and it felt really cool to the touch, plus it provided the functionality/protection she required when listening to music or transporting the nano when away from the home/office.
The case does not weigh hardly anything either and whilst £23 may seem like a lot for a case of the size of a nano, it's a sound investment and worth every penny due to the build quality alone.
