A company called Exspect - a provider of portable power input technology - has introduced a compact rechargeable smart battery device, designed to keep your mobile gadgets in power at any time.

The device in question is the ReCharge4 range which offers three portable devices to keep your favourite mobile gadgets powered up 24-7, including mobile phones, handheld gaming devices and portable MP3 music players including iPod (with a USB cable).

Acting as an independent portable power supply, ReCharge4 can power up your device up to four times from the one mains charge. The dual operation mode also enables the hand held device to be re-charged while still providing uninterrupted power. An easy to read display bar will also give you the heads up as to when you need to top up your power supply so that you are never caught out again.

Each unit weighs only 360 grams. ReCharge4 retails for £39.99 inc VAT and is available from leading stockists including Amazon, Comet and HMV.
