Sony Ericsson & Microsoft Combine For XPERIA X1 |

A small bit of news here, with Microsoft and Sony Ericsson announcing plans to launch a Windows Mobile phone, entitled the XPERIA X1.
The mobile device is the first phone under Sony Ericsson’s new sub-brand XPERIA.
In addition to using a Windows Mobile platform, the XPERIA X1 also features a QWERTY keyboard and 3-inch clear wide VGA display screen.
The device, which was announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, is expected to become available in the second half of 2008.
