MSI have released a new motherboard designed for Audio enthusiasts named the “K8N Diamond Plus” containing the worlds first tube audio panel.
Included on the board is a Sound Blaster Audigy SE! It supports 24-bit/192-KHz full sampling in all 7.1-surround channel, 106dB high S/N ratio, and EAX ADVANCED HD real audio technology.
The board is also catered for Overclockers with the ability to overclock CPU and memory more effectively as the voltage is set high enough to allow more stable overclocking performance.
The new K8N Diamond Plus is based on the latest nForce4 SLI x16 chipset that is ready for two full-bandwidth 16-lane PCI Express links, which ensures maximum graphics performance.Users will not have to worry about system stability, because the board has a specific heatpipe thermal design on the chipset and thermal efficiency on SLI mode is maintained by increasing the expansion between the 2 PCIe x16 slots.
There are tons of expansion slots, 2x PCIe x16 and 2 PCI v2.3 slots (including a communication slot). It comes with 4 SATA II ports to offer independent 3Gbps high-speed bandwidth, also supporting RAID 0, 1, 0+1, 5, and 2 ATA133 channels so you can connect up to 4 IDE drives. It also offers 8 USB 2.0 High-Speed ports to connect to digital devices and Gigabit LAN to connect to the Internet.
