For those who don't know who Tyan are they were founded in 1989 by long-time Intel and IBM executive Dr. T. Symon Chang. Tyan designs, manufactures and markets advanced system board technology. Its products are sold to OEMs, VARs, System Integrators, and Resellers worldwide.
Anyways TYAN has launched its Tomcat h1000S (S3950), a compact, ATX size motherboard with a full range of features for high-density server systems, based on AMD's new Socket AM2 technology.
Applications of the Tomcat h1000S (S3950) include server rackmount and pedestal systems, server farms, industrial applications, small form factor servers, general file and data serving and much more.
The Tomcat h1000S (S3950) also features AMD PowerNow! technology for energy management.
