 The Belinea b.center is a user-friendly storage system for small and medium-sized companies. It integrates into any network using a combination of NAS and iSCSI-SAN technology and can also be administrated with little prior IT expertise thanks to the intuitive graphical administration package.
The b.center is ideally suited to environments that rely on a simple, quickly usable and flexible memory solution and remote administration. Above-average performance, data replication, integrated backup and effective data encryption round of the system, which should provide good value for money.
Integrated backup ensures that data is protected regularly
With the Belinea b.center MAXDATA offers companies a system that integrates seamlessly into Window Active Directory, encrypts data traffic and is administrated using the browser. All data is stored in line with RAID 0/1/5/6.
An integrated backup application also provides regular data backups and thanks to directory and drive replication the system provides highest data reliability.
In addition, an uninterrupted power supply using the USB port guarantees safe switch-off if the power should fail.
Strong features with quiet work
All components work perfectly together in the Belinea b.center. This applies for example to the 2.1 Ghz AMD Sempron processor, the fast 1 GB DDR 2 RAM and the high performance S-ATA hard drives that can achieve transfer rates of over 80 MB/s.
The Belinea b.center communicates with clients via a 1 GB LAN interface. which supports all common protocols.
In addition, four USB 2.0 ports and an eSATA interface provide the option of connecting additional, external hard drives.
Plus more importantly the Belinea b.center has been designed to work quietly.
Web Administration
The Belinea b.center can be administrated from any connected client via a web-based graphical interface. The user operates the administration application and it therefore does not require a long training period.
In addition, the administration interface is protected by a password and secured against unauthorised access using SSL encryption. If a problem occurs the system even informs the administrator by email to enable a quicker response.
