O2 Broadband for as little as £10 a monthO2 has launched one of the UK’s best-value broadband packages, offering download speeds of up to 20 meg and an unlimited usage allowance for just £9.79 per month for O2 mobile customers and £14.68 for non-O2 mobile customers.

O2 is also launching a Pro package for heavy consumer internet users and small businesses. The O2 Home Broadband Pro package includes an enhanced router based on the new wireless 802.11n technology offering better performance, coverage, and improved reliability around the home or office.

Customers will also benefit from download speeds of up to 20 meg, upload speeds of up to 2.5meg (both depending on location), prioritised 24/7 UK-based customer service, unlimited usage allowance and the option of a free static IP address at no extra cost. The Pro package costs just £17.13 for O2 mobile customers and £22.02 for non-O2 mobile customers.

Existing O2 Home Broadband customers can upgrade to one of the new packages by signing up to a new 12 month minimum term contract.

O2 will continue to ensure that customers get the right information about their broadband speeds and fully supports Ofcom's Voluntary Code on Broadband Speeds. O2 conducts a line check before and after a customer buys broadband to ensure that customers are certain about the speed their phone line can support. O2 also provides upfront details on fair usage policies, traffic policies and download limits.

Customers can purchase O2 Home Broadband in any O2 retail store, by going to the O2 Online store at www.o2.co.uk/broadband or by calling 0800 230 0202. Existing customers can upgrade their current O2 package by calling 0800 230 0202.
