Microsoft Have Big Plans For Windows Mobile

Microsoft have announced plans to expand its domination in the mobile sector, it aims to sell arround 20 million units featuring the latest Windows Mobile 6 OS by 2008. This announcement was made at this years Mobile and Embedded Devices Conference in Las Vegas, Microsoft officials also discussed the expansion of their Windows Mobile license agreements. Microsoft Entertainment and Devices Division President Robbie Bach reports the number of Windows Mobile based phone licenses grew by more than 40 percent in 2006. As a result of this statistic, Bach says Microsoft is the fastest-growing phone operating system on the market.
