Child of Eden is the latest creation from the renowned game designer Testsuya Mizuguchi. Testsuya was born in Otaru, Hokkaidō, Japan and originally worked with the corporate giant SEGA before leaving in 2003 to go freelance. He then formed Q Entertainment and released a few titles under this banner called Lumines and Meteos (designed for the smaller handheld consoles). But he is probably best known to people for his earlier game title called Rez, which is essentially the predecessor to Child of Eden.

We first had a chance to play on the new Gears of War 3 Beta when we visited the Gadget Show Live event last month, but lately we have been lucky enough to gain access to the Beta and play this from the comfort of our own lounge. So we thought it was about time to add our own opinions into the mix.

Lately we have been getting back into Xbox 360 gaming and have gone on a pilgrimage to re-discover all the classic games from 2010. So far we have dabbled with Alien Vs Predators, completed Splinter Cell Conviction and also bought and returned games such as Army of Two and believe it or not Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

Last month we had chance to review Hannspree's 32" LED Full HD screen and we were so pleased with it we decided to give it a recommended award. More so due to it being the first large screen TV we had reviewed it became the benchmark for other screens to follow.

We remember when the cost of a FULL HD LCD screen was in the thousands, yet with the uptake on 3D technology this has seen the prices drop significantly so that now anyone can afford a respectable sized FULL HD Screen.

Lately we have been buying up some pretty cool games on pre-owned from the likes of Game and Gamestation. One of the titles we thought was a bargain was Rebellions Aliens Vs Predator game which is available on pre-owned for £9.99 from Game (though we have seen this at some stores for £7.99).

Take one muscle bound actor, apply dark areas, brain dead drones, suspense and subtle deep sounding one liners and the formula should equate to a hugh success for The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena. After all the game features one of Vin Diesel's best and most loved action hero characters 'Richard B. Riddick' and the developers have even added in the re-mastered Butcher Bay classic into the mix for good measure.

Having never played the original Xbox title we were not too concerned about storyline or plot structure for the sequel, after all with the word Ninja in the same sentence we can pretty much sum up its origins in one fell swoop....

Black outfit, swords, jumping and fighting, mixed in with plenty of gore and a side order of cheesy 80's dialogue.

Whilst we are fairly new to the XBox 360 world we are slowly getting through some of the all time classic games and recently we have been having a blast on Mass Effect (a game first released back in Nov 07) which can now be picked up for as low as £9.99 pre-owned.

Too Human is a game that promises much excitement (what with RPG elements, co-op action and different skill paths) but delivers mostly frustration if truth be told.

Hot on the heels of the latest patch for Fable 2 and the Knothole Island downloadable content, we thought it would be a good idea to add our own thoughts about Fable 2 (An RPG/Adventure game). Currently we have put in about 25 hours of gaming and its certainly one of those games that the more you put into playing it, the more you get out of it.

With last years demo giving us a sample of the great game play on offer in Left 4 Dead, it was inevitable that at some point we would try out the full game and for fans of co-op based FPS you will certainly be in for a treat.

With a copy of Gears of War 2 sitting on our desk, tempting us with its graphical splendour and reputation it was just too much to bear and we had to buy a console just so we could play it! Much like our fellow reviewers we have to admit the game is amazing and we have not been able to stop playing it, the quality and effort that has gone into the title is breathtaking and we also got our first hands on experience with Xbox Live, which itself is providing us with lots of multiplayer heaven.

We have to admit that we are not too familiar with the goings on of the first game, having only just started to jump on the console band wagon, but one thing’s for sure we are certainly enjoying the sequel, which of course will be heavily compared to GTA IV. Though in fairness the element of fun seems to be the order of the day for Saints Row 2 and it’s a game that is certainly going to entertain, that's for sure.

Recently EA sent us the Orange Box for review, which comprises of 5 games, Half-Life 2, Episode 1 (EP1), Episode 2 (EP2), Portal and Team Fortress 2. For the last few weeks we have been putting the game through its paces on both the PS3 and PC versions.

Again we need to point out that our experience with the FIFA range of games is a touch on the low side, we have only dabbled slightly with older versions of FIFA, so we will be treating the game from a newcomers point of view.

We have to admit we have never played any of the previous Tiger Woods games, so the review is based from a newbie perspective, but we will do our best to bring you the facts.

After playing the demo the other week we were extremely excited to get our review copy last Friday and yes we did go crazy over the weekend and played it till the end so we could write this review and then get back to the fight.
