 The email we just received did its job in a sense, as we noticed two things, one the price of this 37" Alqemi 1080P LCD was quite competitive (at £649) and secondly you also get a DVD player with HD upscaling free at the time of purchase.
The Evesham 37'' Alqemi VX 1080p screen has a 1920 x 1080 resolution - which should produce some impressive quality images - and this is joined by a fast 6.5ms response time. A fast response time essentially prevents smearing and ghosting on fast action scenes.
Plus for connectivity you have 2 x HDMI (though we are not sure if this supports the HDMI 1.3 standard).
As with most TV's you get an integrated freeview receiver, which allows you to get up to 30 free digital TV channels, plus digital radio and red button interactive services without the need for a seperate freeview box.
Finally you also get some integrated speakers with 3D Panorama Sound. Which in a nutshell will try and mimic the effects of surround sound speakers but using only 2 instead of 5.
