Over-the-air software upgrades announced for Humax PVR-9150T & PVR-9300T digital TV recorders |

 Humax has sent us the confirmed dates for an over-the-air software upgrade to minimise fan noise on its PVR-9150T and PVR-9300T digital TV recorders.
The Smart Fan Control software will keep fan use to an absolute minimum by ensuring the fan only switches on if the PVRs exceed a temperature outside of that necessary for safe operation and will switch off after a short period of time.
The upgrades will automatically take place on all PVR-9150T and PVR-9300T models on the following dates, as long as they are in stand-by mode overnight:
PVR-9300T - 27th to 29th November
PVR-9150T - 5th and 8th December
All Humax PVRs manufactured from October 2008 already contain the Smart Fan Control software.
