Viewsonic Full HD 1080P 22ViewSonic Corp has developed a new full HD 1080p 22" LCD monitor - code name VX2260wm - which should provide an ideal platform for those looking at gaming or multimedia usage.

As well as the Full HD 1080p resolution the screen packs in SRS WOW HD sound technology for crystal-clear audio and a true HD widescreen alongside a HDMI and DVI-D port with HDCP connectivity.

The Full HD LCD monitor comes from its 1:1 mapping between the signal and display which provides the best image quality for both HD video and HD game playing. In addition, the 16:9 ergonomic, special screen ratio creates a comfortable viewing environment to protect your eyes from feeling tired.

The 22-inch VX2260wm also has a high brightness and super-fast 2ms video response time in addition to a 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.

“By introducing this Full HD 1080p model, ViewSonic remains ahead of the pack by optimizing the desktop experience for both gamers and professionals. The new Full HD 1080p VX2260wm model delivers excellent front-of-screen performance and provides users with their  own personal media centre”, says Mel Taylor, VP Sales Europe.

The full HD 1080p VX2260wm has manual aspect ratio adjustment capability that ensure a full, undistorted screen image by maintaining correct image proportions for both widescreen and native 4:3 content. The monitor comes with an environmentally-friendly Eco-mode that reduces power consumption and extends the backlight life, conserving power when not in use.

The VX2260wm will be available in November for the price of £162 excl. VAT and comes with a 3 year warranty
