ViewSonic has announced its new addition to its rapidly-growing widescreen, multimedia and high-definition display portfolio: The 28” (27.5” viewable) VX2835wm.
The native resolution of this 28” HD widescreen display is 1920 x 1200, meaning it’s designed to display more than 2.3 million pixels – that’s around 10% higher than the typical native resolution which Full HD displays achieve today.
The VX2835wm Incorporates the latest ClearPicture technology, with 3ms response time, which should guarantee blur-free, ghost-free, full-motion video, and makes the VX2835wm one of the fastest LCDs in its class.
There are numerous analogue and digital (with HDCP) inputs including component, PC-VGA and HDMI which makes the display ideal for hooking up an Xbox 360 or a PS3 HD gaming console, as well as HD set-top boxes or Blu-ray and HD-DVD video sources.
The multifunction HD VX2835wm will be available in September from authorised resellers, retailers and e-tailers for a recommended street price of £699 Inc Vat.
