LINDY has announced the launch of its USB Data Dock; a compact unit that utilises a 3.5” drive bay, to allow you to ‘build-in’ a portable USB hub, 2.5” hard drive and memory card reader.
The LINDY USB Data Dock consists of the dock itself, which fits into a standard 3.5” expansion bay and connects to the motherboard’s USB interface, and three data trays comprising of a four port USB hub, a multi-format card reader and a 2.5” IDE HDD enclosure.
Two data trays can be housed in the dock at any one time and the third can be connected to an external USB port if required.
Compatible with both Windows and Mac, the trays simply slide into the data dock and eject at the touch of a button. A USB Dual Power Cable is included for powering the data trays when connected to an external USB port.

- Installs into a standard 3.5" floppy drive bay and connects to the motherboard's USB connection USB 2.0 interface, backwards compatible with USB 1.1
- Compatible with Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Vista and Mac OS 9.0 and above
The Multi-format Card Reader supports the following card types:
- CompactFlash (external connection only)
- MemoryStick, MS Pro, MS ROM, MS Duo
- xD, SmartMedia
- sD, mini-SD, MMC
